  • VOLUNTEER MENTOR- YOUTH ENGAGEMENT
    Description
    A mentor is a volunteer who builds relationships with youth and acts as a positive role model, confidant and advocate, while providing a network of support.
  • KITCHEN VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
    Description
    The volunteer Kitchen Coordinator will be responsible for the operations of our kitchen at The Bridge and oversee the kitchen staff volunteers including cooks and servers.
  • VOLUNTEER KITCHEN STAFF
    Description
    Assist the Volunteer Kitchen Coordinator and Volunteer Nutrition Program Coordinator with preparing of meals, snacks, food handling and serving of meals.
  • VOLUNTEER NUTRITION PROGRAM COORDINATOR
    Description
    The Volunteer Nutrition Program Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of accessible food for the Youth Nutrition program which includes: youth drop-in, The Bridge Youth Engagement Programs and youth in need who are referred to the program from youth service providers.
  • VOLUNTEER NUTRITION PROGRAM SUPPORT
    Description
    Assist the Volunteer Nutrition Program Coordinator with organizing, preparation of snacks for the youth. Assist in maintaining of kitchen cleanliness, food safety and inventory
  • VOLUNTEER WELCOME AREA/RECEPTION COORDINATOR
    Description
    Welcome visitors and answer incoming calls. Provide outstanding customer service to all clients, visitors, staff, and volunteers. Respond to inquiries by providing information and directing visitors to appropriate resources within The Bridge and in the community.
  • VOLUNTEER-WELCOME AREA /RECEPTION
    Description
    Welcome visitors and answer incoming calls. Provide outstanding customer service to all clients, visitors, staff, and volunteers. Respond to inquiries by providing information and directing visitors to appropriate resources.
  • VOLUNTEER- ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
    Description
    Provide administrative support for all programs as directed by the Director of Operations and or designate(s)
  • VOLUNTEER- FUND RAISING & EVENTS COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM
    Description
    Reporting to the Public Relations Coordinator, fundraising and events volunteers will assist with fundraising, donor stewardship and community event activities. You will directly contribute to increasing The Bridge’s capacity to expand programs and services for youth in need in our community.
  • VOLUNTEER- RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR VOLUNTEER
    Description
    Provide support to the Public Relations Coordinator and the Project Manager in the recruitment and training of volunteers for all Bridge programs and events.
  • VOLUNTEERS-GENERAL
    Description
    The Bridge will have many new events, programs and projects throughout the year ahead. If your interests vary, or you would like to provide a specific service or workshop (example-tutoring, cooking, budgeting) and would like to be part of our “on call” list, please be sure to complete a volunteer application with your area of interest.
  • ROAD RUNNERS- VOLUNTEER DRIVERS
    Description
    Reporting to Project Manager or designate, Road Runner volunteer drivers will assist with the transportation of clients and volunteers of The Bridge Youth Resource Centre and their service providers.
  • VOLUNTEER-GENERAL MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
    Description
    Provide maintenance-related tasks that need to be completed at The Bridge, including but not limited to painting, working with tools, general repairs, building and grounds maintenance. Provide direction and leadership for General Maintenance Team
  • VOLUNTEER-GENERAL MAINTENANCE TEAM
    Description
    Provide maintenance-related tasks that need to be completed at The Bridge, as per direction of the General Maintenance Coordinator and Director of Operations. This includes but not limited to cleaning, painting, working with tools, general repairs, building and grounds maintenance.

Every young person has something they’re good at. When you focus on their strength, then you are able to deal with any underlying issues they may be facing.
